RALEIGH, NC—ShareFile, a leading provider of web-based tools that allows companies to email large business files and virtual data room solutions, announces that they are sponsoring the inaugural Office Olympics on Oct. 10 to benefit Project HOPE, a global health education and humanitarian assistance organization.
The Office Olympics are being hosted by SHARE, a community service organization made up of ShareFile employees. SHARE was founded in early 2010 and is designed to provide members with an opportunity to give back to the community and support worldwide organizations.
Earlier this year, ShareFile employees partnered with Stop Hunger Now to successfully pack more than 10,000 meals for victims of the Haiti earthquake disaster. Following the success of that event, the SHARE organization decided to host the Office Olympics to benefit Project HOPE.
“Project HOPE is a great organization that has done so much around the world and we are excited about this opportunity to raise money for them, while providing a fun atmosphere for local businesses to compete against each other,” said SHARE founder Jarrett Horne.
Businesses from around the Triangle area are invited to participate in this event. Each business can enter their team of athletes into the Olympics at one of three levels, Bronze, Silver or Gold. Food will also be donated by local Triangle restaurants, and there will be an awards ceremony and party for athletes following the event. All proceeds from the event will be donated to Project HOPE.
