Raleigh, NC—August 23, 2011 —ShareFile, a leading provider of secure file transfer and full-featured virtual data room solutions that enables companies to exchange large and/or confidential business files, announces it will host the 2nd Annual Office Olympics on October 15, 2011 to benefit the American Diabetes Association, which uses funds to research, prevent, cure and manage diabetes.
The Office Olympics are being hosted by SHARE, a community service organization made up of ShareFile employees. SHARE was founded in early 2010 and is designed to provide members with an opportunity to give back to the community and support worldwide organizations. Past SHARE projects have included Habitat for Humanity, National Trails Day, Stop Hunger Now and Movember.
Businesses from around the Triangle area are invited to participate in this event. Each business can enter their team of four athletes into the Olympics at one of three levels; Bronze, Silver or Gold. Food and prizes will be donated by local Triangle restaurants and stores. Following the event there will be an award ceremony and after party. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the American Diabetes Association.
