Jesse Lipson

A self-taught software programmer, Jesse has been involved in internet technologies since 1999. In 2001, he became President of Rapidata.net, a pharmaceutical market research company. In just two years, he helped grow revenues at Rapidata.net by over 500% and laid the foundation for the company's acquisition by Greenfield Online. Subsequent to Rapidata.net, Jesse co-founded and served as CEO for the web site development firm novelProjects.

Jesse founded ShareFile in 2005. In just 5 years, he has helped grow ShareFile from zero to almost 14,000 customers, 40 full-time employees, and almost 2 million users. Jesse graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke University with a degree in philosophy in 2000.

Ed Cheely

Ed most recently helped build Yext, the “next Yellow Pages,” in New York City, where he worked as overall VP of Sales and the President of multiple business units. Prior to Yext he managed and led campus sales for Ruckus Network, an online music company in Washington, DC.His time before Ruckus was spent in North Carolina. After graduating from Duke University with some kind of cum laude distinction (he’s not exactly sure which one), Ed moved on to leadership positions in both the for-profit and not-for-profit arenas, working closely with his mentor, August Turak.

Peter Hebert

Peter Hebert manages the software development team guaranteeing that ShareFile provides the most relevant technology and features to our customers. Peter has experience working as the Chief Software Architect at MDeverywhere and as a Software Developer at Mi-Co. He graduated from Duke University.

Nate Spilker

Nate Spilker joined ShareFile in 2007 to oversee all aspects of client services and the day-to-day operations of this quickly emerging company. Under Nate’s leadership, ShareFile’s customer base has grown by more than 500%, while his team has maintained a 99.6% customer satisfaction rate. Prior to joining ShareFile, Nate worked at MDeverywhere, a start-up medical software company, for 11 years. As one of its first employees, Nate served in many roles – developer, database administrator and program manager – and played an integral role in designing and developing a leading medical charge capture solution. Nate graduated from Duke University in 1995.

Pete Harvey

Pete joined ShareFile in October of 2010. Pete’s responsibilities will include finance and operations for the Company. Prior to joining ShareFile, Pete was one of the founders of Active Data Services, Inc. (ADS) in RTP North Carolina. ADS formed as a business process outsourcing company via MBO in 2002. As the leader of the finance and administration team Pete’s skills were instrumental in the Company’s growth and successful sale to a Strategic Buyer in the fall of 2009. Prior to ADS, Pete held a variety of financial and accounting positions at Lason, Bell and Howell, Kraft Foods, and Price Waterhouse. Pete graduated from the University of Notre Dame.
