Jesse Lipson
VP & GM, Data Sharing
Jesse Lipson is the VP & GM of Data Sharing at Citrix, where he is responsible for the vision, market direction and product strategy behind the company’s data platform.
A self-taught software programmer, Jesse has launched and led multiple cloud and e-commerce businesses since the age of 23. His first venture was Rapidata.net, a pharmaceutical market research company, where he served as president and CEO. In just two years, he helped grow revenues at Rapidata.net by over 500 percent and laid the foundation for the company's acquisition by Greenfield Online. Subsequent to Rapidata.net, Jesse co-founded and served as CEO for the website development firm novelProjects.
Jesse founded ShareFile in late 2005, bootstrapping the company from zero to four million users in six years. He joined Citrix in 2011, when Citrix acquired ShareFile. Jesse graduated Magna Cum Laude from Duke University with a degree in philosophy in 2000. He currently serves on the board of directors of Yext and is a founding partner of HUB Raleigh.
Peter Hebert
Director, Product Development
Peter oversees the development team and manages ShareFile's technical infrastructure. Before joining ShareFile, Peter spent seven years at
MDeverywhere, where he served as technical lead for their Palm OS product line and software architect for their in-house document imaging and
workflow system. Peter graduated from Duke University with a degree in computer science and economics.
Nate Spilker
Director, Client Services
Nate Spilker joined ShareFile in 2007 to oversee all aspects of client services and the day-to-day operations of this quickly emerging company.
Under Nate's leadership, ShareFile's customer base has grown by more than 500 percent, while his team has maintained a 99.6 percent customer satisfaction rate.
Prior to joining ShareFile, Nate worked at MDeverywhere, a start-up medical software company, for 11 years. As one of its first employees, Nate served in many roles—developer, database administrator and program manager—and played an integral role in designing and developing a leading medical charge capture solution. Nate graduated from Duke University in 1995.
Ed Cheely
Director, Sales and Business Development
Ed most recently helped build Yext, the "next Yellow Pages," in New York City, where he worked as overall VP of Sales and the
President of multiple business units. Prior to Yext he managed and led campus sales for Ruckus Network, an online music company
in Washington, DC. His time before Ruckus was spent in North Carolina. After graduating from Duke University with some kind
of cum laude distinction (he's not exactly sure which one), Ed moved on to leadership positions in both the for-profit and
not-for-profit arenas, working closely with his mentor, August Turak.
Pete Harvey
Director, Finance
Pete joined ShareFile in October 2010. Pete’s responsibilities include finance and operations for the company. Prior to joining ShareFile,
Pete was one of the founders of Active Data Services, Inc. (ADS) in RTP North Carolina. ADS formed as a business process outsourcing company via MBO in 2002.
As the leader of the finance and administration team, Pete was instrumental in the company’s growth and successful sale to a strategic buyer in the fall of 2009.
Prior to ADS, Pete held a variety of financial and accounting positions at Lason, Bell and Howell, Kraft Foods, and Price Waterhouse. Pete graduated from the University of Notre Dame.
Bill Carovano
Sr. Director, Product Management & Marketing
Bill is responsible for product management & marketing for the ShareFile Enterprise product line at Citrix. He has been with Citrix for over 12 years in
numerous roles, including customer-facing leadership positions in Consulting Services and Systems Engineering as well as Product Development & Marketing roles
for the XenServer, XenDesktop and XenApp product lines. Prior to Citrix, Bill spent five years with Accenture as an IT consultant and project manager.
Cat Allday
Sr. Director, Product Management SaaS
Cat Allday is responsible for product management for the ShareFile product, specifically representing the needs of the SMB and vertical markets and the business professional user. Cat previously led product management teams at Citrix Online Services Division for the collaboration products: GoToMeeting,
GoToTraining, GoToWebinar and GoView.
Juan Rivera
Director, Product Development
Juan is responsible for the ShareFile Enterprise Engineering group. He focuses on building enterprise solutions on the ShareFile platform. Juan is a Citrix
veteran having joined the company in 2001. During the early years at Citrix, Juan worked on a wide range of products including Secure Gateway and Access Gateway.
Juan then moved to lead the engineering team that created the HDX technologies. Most recently Juan led a global engineering team releasing XenDesktop 5.5. Prior
to Citrix, Juan held R&D positions at Kodak and AT&T Bell Labs.
Meeghn Hanson
Sr. Director, Marketing
Meeghn is responsible for marketing at ShareFile, overseeing the team’s efforts across all online and offline marketing channels. Prior to joining ShareFile, Meeghn was the VP of Marketing for lynda.com, a successful SaaS business that is the largest provider of online software training. Prior to lynda.com, Meeghn held brand management and CRM/loyalty marketing leadership roles within the CPG firms of Mars, Inc. and Mattel.
Juliano Maldaner
Principal Architect
Working with the Citrix Data Sharing Group, Juliano is responsible for enhancing ShareFile enterprise features. He joined Citrix in 2006 as a product architect with XenApp and participated in all major releases from XenApp 4.5 to 6.5. Juliano has nearly twenty years of combined experience in software development in both the US and Brazil. He holds a bachelor of science in Computer Science from Campinas University (UNICAMP).
