Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, ShareFile is a leading provider of tools for exchanging business files easily, securely, and professionally. Originally named projectPulse, the first version of ShareFile was launched in late 2003. In the fall of 2004, the product name was changed to ShareFile and was released to a limited customer base in the Southeast.

In November of 2005, ShareFile released a new version of its software — rebuilt from the ground up with the latest technologies. Today, ShareFile has over 100,000 users from thousands of companies in over 120 countries around the world.

ShareFile is a wholly-owned subsidiary of novel labs, a software development think tank that seeks to improve business efficiency through automation and standardization of business processes.
