Film Racing Hosts Video Competition Using ShareFile
Film Racing hosts several competitions throughout the year in which filmmakers from around the country are challenged to create an original short film in just 24 hours. The competition was created by Charlie Weisman and Craig Flamm, two New York filmmakers who wanted to create the ultimate filmmaking challenge and answer a question, “Can a movie be made in a 24 hours?” Since its start in NYC in 2002, Film Racing has expanded to 20 cities throughout North America and over 2,000 films have been created as part of the competitions.
Film Racing needed a way to easily manage the competition and decided to use ShareFile. Filmmakers upload their videos using ShareFile’s remote upload form. The operators of the film festival can then organize the videos on ShareFile by geographic location and easily send to the editors and judges throughout the country.
Check out the ShareFile video testimonial from Charlie Weisman of Film Racing to learn how his business uses ShareFile to send files easily.
