On April 16th, 2011, more than two dozen tornadoes hit 32 counties in North Carolina. With an estimated $115 million in damage in just the Raleigh area, many people were left with severely damaged property, including houses and cars. A severe tornado ripped through an area just 8 miles from the ShareFile office, leaving many families in a state of despair.

What is Movember? Each year, the month of November becomes Movember around the world. During Movember, men all over the world, aptly titled “Mo Bros,” grow out their mustaches to raise funds and awareness for men’s health issues, specifically for male cancers.

This year, a group of ShareFile employees have banded together with Team RDU. As of today, Team RDU was the top team in the country with over $12,000 raised beating out teams in Boston and New York City! To take a look at our team page, you can go to MovemberRDU.

Our inaugural Office Olympics were held this past Sunday on the 10th of October at our office park in Raleigh. We had a great turnout from local businesses and the event raised over $2000 for Project HOPE!

Our community service organization, SHARE, is hosting a local Office Olympics in Raleigh on October 10th. Our SHARE organization was formed in April and ShareFile has participated in different events in the Raleigh area, but this time we wanted to host something ourselves. We are hoping to build upon the success of our Stop Hunger Now event to benefit Haiti we held earlier in the year.

This event is open to any local Raleigh businesses.
