Entry-level job openings: ShareFile Sales Representative

Looking for a job after graduation? Good news: Citrix ShareFile, voted one of the Best Places to Work in the Triangle, is hiring entry-level sales representatives in Raleigh, NC!

I know what you’re thinking—you probably didn’t go to college to become a salesperson. Let me explain why you’re going to love this job. We think of sales differently.

The sales philosophy of ShareFile stems from our mission to raise the bar for service in the field of technology. We reach out to help people learn about ShareFile knowing that in just a few years ShareFile has been hugely beneficial to over 9,000,000 people around the world. Our software is easy to use, offers more features than any other product in the market place, and is priced so reasonably that it pays for itself within days. Our goal with each sales call is to determine whether the person we are speaking with could benefit from ShareFile. If the answer is yes, we’ve made a sale. If no, we move on to the next opportunity.

Managing ShareFile’s Growth

The tremendous growth ShareFile has experienced since our acquisition by Citrix begs the question, “How does a fairly small startup handle rapid expansion effectively and efficiently?”

Ashton Smith, Project Manager on the Facilities and Operations team, describes the requirements for successful growth in this way, “I think flexibility to deal with changes and preparedness are important. After all, things are changing all the time, and it’s important to keep a cool head in those situations. But I think the most important requirement is good communication skills. A team like this is so dependent on each member that it’s critical for us to keep open lines of communication – and for people to be willing to step up and lend a hand when it’s needed.”

Citrix is on the Move in North Carolina: 130,000 Sq-Ft Office Space Will Open in 2013

In June, Gov. Bev Perdue announced that, through the Job Development Investment Grant, Citrix ShareFile will create 337 jobs and invest $12.5 million in North Carolina. With such explosive growth of employees to come, we need to move our office facilities to a new space that can accommodate the influx of staff. Over the next five years, we are looking to grow our employee base to more than double what it currently is.

There has been lots of chatter about where the new office location will be, but the wait is finally over. The new facility (just announced today) will be located in a space in the warehouse district of downtown Raleigh. The 130,000 square-foot facility will retain the essence of the original warehouse environment while being outfitted with the latest technology to facilitate collaboration and teamwork.
