If you’re like most of us here at ShareFile, you probably love your smartphone. Of course, it’s awesome to be able to check critical scores for your favorite team and update others of your current status through every social media application imaginable while on the go. But we strongly believe that power of mobile applications can be of great use to businesses and for organizations as well. Within our own offices, we use mobile technology daily to help our support team monitor important issues after normal office hours and to receive constant updates about the status of our system.

From your requests, we have learned that ShareFile account users are a mobile-savvy group as well, and we are excited to introduce a new ShareFile mobile application to make using your ShareFile account from your phone or tablet easier and more streamlined than ever before. If you’ve ever received an email notification that an important new file was available on your account while you were away from your computer, the mobile app is for you. With ShareFile on your phone, you can download and review the file immediately. If a coworker or client needs to access files while you’re out of the office, you can send them a link to the file, and the app also allows you to send out emails requesting files from others.

Our new mobile app features cross-platform compatibility to serve as many users as possible. We see this as a first of many exciting mobile updates to roll out this year, including increased functionality on the current application and new versions of the application designed specifically for iOS and Android users.
