If you use Citrix ShareFile on your iPhone, you may have noticed something a little different. Starting this week, iPhone users can download our redesigned app in the Apple App Store.
Based on extensive product testing and feedback from you, our customers, we’ve completely redesigned the ShareFile Mobile App for iPhone to make it easier than ever before for you to share, sync and store files from anywhere, at any time.
Don’t worry. You’ll still have access to all of the features you know and love in the ShareFile Mobile App — but they’ll be easier to use (and prettier, too). With our new and improved features, you’ll now be able to share and sync multiple files at once and send files from the different email apps on your phone.
So, what’s new? For starters, we’ve added a mobile-editing tool. Yep, I said it: a mobile editing tool. Now, you’ll be able to create and edit Microsoft Office documents and annotate PDF files. So, you not only can share and store your files on the go with the new app, but you can easily edit them, too.
In addition, the redesigned app is optimized for iOS 7 and has a completely new interface and design that is easier to use and navigate. Rather than using icons that require you to guess what they do, you’ll now see text menus that clearly outline the actions you can take. And, our redesigned slide menu was designed just for smartphones, which means it works just the way your fingers want it to. In addition, the navigation is contextual, so you’ll only see the menu options you need based on what and how many items you’ve selected. You have new ways to send files, improved search and scrolling capabilities, and consolidated workflows.
Basically, it’s everything you love about the ShareFile Mobile App—only better
If you’re already using the ShareFile Mobile App on your iPhone or would like to, you can download the new app or update your app through the Apple App Store on your device.
