A Look Back At Our Incredible First Year With Citrix

No Comments Posted on Thursday, October 11th, 2012 by Jennifer

We are quickly approaching the one-year mark of the Citrix acquisition. This time last year, we were announcing for the very first time that ShareFile was acquired by Citrix Systems. We are excited to be a part of the Citrix family and have enjoyed being a part of an even larger team that spans worldwide. As I was thinking about where we were this time last year, I am amazed to see how things have changed in just one short year. Take a look at some of these reflections:

The number of employees: 93 in October 2011; 189 employees in October 2012

The size of our office: 15,531 sq. ft. in October of 2011; 46,528 sq. ft.  in October of 2012

The number of pizzas at company meetings: 40 pizzas in October 2011; 70 pizzas in October 2012

These numbers show the explosive growth that has occurred over the past year. In fact, in 2013 we will be expanding our office space and team even more. Check out the Citrix Raleigh facility plans to learn more about our new space.

Employee feedback

Being a part of the Citrix family this year has been better than I ever could have expected.  We’ve got the power of Citrix behind us to provide more resources and support from a global team of colleagues, but we’re still 100% committed to the culture that makes ShareFile unique – the culture that makes us the Best Place to Work in the Triangle! – Laura Ivey, Sales Director

The resources that we have thanks to Citrix have allowed me to change careers and remain at the company I love; I started out in customer service and have been able to transition to a design position. It’s been fun to see us grow from 5 employees to nearly 200 and I can’t wait to see how far we can go as a part of the Citrix family. –Alex Boyd, Associate Designer

Stay tuned for announcements about our building progress in the near future!
