Send Large Files Directly From Outlook
Forget about wasting your time with traditional FTP services. ShareFile for Legal offers a way to send large files directly from your email. The ShareFile Outlook Plug-in allows you to insert links to your files, upload and send new files, and request files directly from Microsoft Outlook. You can also choose for all attachments to be sent via ShareFile rather than your internal email server.
When composing email messages using the Outlook Plug-in, you will be given three new buttons: Send a File, Request a File and Send from ShareFile.
Advanced Security Tips from ShareFile Support
ShareFile has a number of security measures in place to protect all data stored on our servers. For accounts with especially sensitive files, there are extra steps that you can take to further ensure that your data is safe.

Enjoy Real-Time Document Delivery Notifications
Have you ever wondered what happens to the files you send over to your clients? Are they aware they received a file? Are they ignoring your email and not downloading? Or did they get the file two hours ago and just haven’t gotten back to you yet? What about that fax you sent yesterday? Yes, you may have received a print out that the fax went through-but do you really know if your recipient grabbed the document from their fax machine? Wouldn’t it be convenient if you received notifications in real time when your documents were received? Email notifications make getting the answers to these questions much easier. Check out the different ways you can set up and use email notifications:
Stop Stressing Over Large Email Attachments
We have all encountered it. Trying to send a large file through email only to be disappointed later when you find out that your client did not receive your email. It may have bounced, or triggered the dreaded file size limitation error. Now you have to figure out how to get the document to its destination — by tomorrow. So, you may have to resort to forking out extra money for overnight delivery to ensure it arrives. If you’re lucky enough to send the email, there may still be other consequences for sending large files as email attachments. What if your email put your recipient’s mailbox over quota, preventing them from receiving other messages? Or what about yourself? Your email might put your own mailbox over quota.

Free Your Desktop From Clutter
If you’re like thousands of people out there, you’re stuck in a rut of keeping your important files right on your desktop. I get it; you have easy access to them quickly. You know exactly where they are. You can even password protect them so no one accidently gets access to it from your computer if you leave it unlocked. But what if something were to happen to your computer… and you lost your important documents? That document that you’ve been working on for hours just disappeared. Sometimes there are chances to recover such documents in the event of a loss. However, if your hard drive crashed and your documents weren’t backed up you could be out of luck. Why worry when you don’t have to?
