The ever-expanding world of 140 characters or less has caught fire over the last several years. Twitter’s mobile application, which perfectly caters to the social media site’s attitude, has seen its popularity rise along with the original website.

Exciting news! Readdle (the leading producer of world-class productivity applications for iPhone and iPad) announced that PDF Expert for iPad and PDF Expert Enterprise now integrate with Citrix ShareFile. PDF Expert is an advanced iPad application for reading, annotating and signing PDF documents, as well as filling out PDF forms, all on the go.

Integration with Citrix ShareFile makes it possible for ShareFile users to access files stored in the cloud, edit PDF files, sign contracts and agreements, or fill out PDF forms in PDF Expert on the iPad and save documents back to storage.

When is it good to talk about yourself?

It may seem counterintuitive, but it’s true. A company with self-awareness is able to connect with consumers on a more human level. Just think about these three ways that a good story can help you reach others:

1) Sales

It’s satisfying to support a company that you admire. Making your values and story known encourages customers to remember you.

2) Retention

Most of your employees want a career, not just a job. When employees know your story, they know where they fit into the broader narrative.

Many of my co-workers support customers across the globe, spanning numerous time zones. If they aren’t responding to customers in Australia, they are sleeping or assisting customers in Europe and other regions. Email does not stop flowing into their inboxes. I mean, there is not one hour of the day when email pauses for them. Overwhelming, right?

The great news is that it doesn’t have to be. There are a plethora of organizational experts and systems out there that can show you how to get and stay organized and implement an organizational system all your own. In regard to email, there are a few key tips to follow that can help you keep your workflow under control and your inbox as close to zero as possible.

1) Schedule. Set aside time every single day to review your inbox. When and how much time you spend is up to you. I’ve seen folks process email for 30 minutes in the morning, 30 minutes right after lunch and 30 minutes at the end of the day. While others may choose to do 45 minutes to 1 hour in the morning and also in the evening. The key here is to respond to any email that will take you less than 2 minutes to complete. If it is going to take you more than 2 minutes, file it away and respond to it during your next email review session. Not only will you feel more in control of the content flying at you, but you will also prevent email from dictating your workflow.

My name is Preston Kiser and I am a Software Test Engineer here at ShareFile. Since starting with the company in 2010 I’ve had the pleasure to see a number of new releases and changes to our system, and I would like to take some time to discuss one of my personal favorites – ShareFile Sync.

Today marks the two year anniversary of the debut of Desktop Sync. The release of Sync allowed users to quickly and easily integrate ShareFile into their daily workflow. We found that Sync was able to fulfill a variety of needs – allowing accountants to seamlessly upload tax documents to their client folders and ensuring that sales reps in the field always have the most up-to-date figures. The best part of all – it’s fully automated!

Will: Why do you think ShareFile is such a big hit within the legal field?

Beth: The amount of data that attorneys work with is mind-boggling. This data is extremely sensitive, and legal documents are often very large files. Collaborating on these documents can be cumbersome and difficult to manage. Until ShareFile, there wasn’t a solution out there that really combined security and ease of use. ShareFile gives attorneys a simple, turnkey solution to manage and transfer their data, increasing overall productivity and workflow.
