Located in Raleigh, ShareFile has what we would call a healthy dose of college basketball passion. With UNC, NC State, and Duke all within 30 miles, we are lucky enough to have world class rivalries carry over within our office and our community. The UNC-Duke game and State’s last regular season game against Florida State are both coming up this weekend, and the ACC tournament is less than a week away, so there is plenty of excitement and bragging to go around.

There’s been a lot of written about the effects of March Madness on productivity in the work place, but I’m inclined to agree with Adam Horowitz of bnet.com, who’s “Attention Bosses: Your Employees Need to Watch March Madness” article last March listed 10 reasons for employees to at least go along with their employee’s enthusiasm and bracket pools this time of year. I particularly liked reason #10, that happy employees are productive employees. Last year, we had great results in March, and hope to continue that trend this year during tournament season. We are working to release our native apps for Android and Mac OS at the end of the month to increase our mobile compatibility, and we are also continuing to help more clients get started with the recently released Desktop Sync and Enterprise Sync tools every day. With all of the growth that we’ve had over the last few years (link to 2 million users article), the ShareFile team has grown considerably, and there’s nothing like love of college basketball to remind us of what we have in common.
